MOTs

Off-the-shelf CRMs were built for a sales team. Not for auto repair shops.

MOT reminders are a diary someone has to remember to check — miss a month and those cars quietly get tested up the road, next year too.

Estimates get approved over the phone, if you can catch the customer — so the car sits on the ramp all afternoon, blocking a paying job.

Parts orders live on a notepad by the till. The wrong disc turns up, the job slips a day, and the courtesy car doesn’t come back.

The whiteboard says what’s happening today. Nobody can say what the workshop actually did last month, or which customer never came back.

See it from the inside

What your CRM would look like — screen by screen.

Not stock screenshots — this is the shape of the system we’d build for auto repair shops: your records, your stages, your words. Click through the screens.

The owner’s 8am screen — who’s on which ramp, what’s stuck waiting on parts, what got invoiced — before the first customer rings.

A real starting point

Here’s the analysis we’d start from — for auto repair shops.

Not a template. This is the data model, pipeline and automations a business like yours actually runs on — mapped in your words. Your free analysis produces exactly this, shaped to you.

Your system, mapped

Your pipeline, exactly as your CRM would show it — your stages, your words. This is what we build from.

Questions auto repair shops ask us

Can it pull from our parts suppliers and DVSA MOT records?
Yes — anything with an export or API can feed the system. Parts orders link to the job card that’s waiting on them, and MOT due dates come straight off the reg, so the reminder clock sets itself.
Our mechanics won’t touch a computer — is that a problem?
It doesn’t need to be. The workshop board runs on a tablet by the ramps: a mechanic taps a card to move it, everything else — the texts, the chasing, the invoice — happens on its own. Front of house does the typing.
How long until we’re live?
A working prototype in about a week for €500. The full build usually lands in three to six weeks, depending on integrations and how much history you want migrated in.
Who owns the system and the data?
You do — entirely. It’s your system, hosted for you, and you can export every vehicle, job card and invoice at any time. No per-seat lock-in.
